People have emailed me how I put keywords mp3 in my tags. well, it's simple, I have an mp3 program to encode all the data into each mp3. The keywords in the mp3 are all hard coded. It take more time that way but it give me more flexibility to alter the page and design.
The keywords mp3 program is free online. Just google the term keywords mp3 and you should find it. Anyhow, each id in the mp3 can be extracted and put inside a table to be displayed. I took custom fields inside each keywords mp3 and made them usable inside my site. I then used and mp3 extractor script to pull the keywords and place it inside a table next the the mp3 file.
If you think you need some help getting it to work, let me know. Keywords files are easy to make and are very helpful for people who do not directly work with a database like MySql and others. You can use flat files and pull the keywords right out of the file itself. The mp3 ID tag is free online too.
The hardest part of all was getting it intergrated into the site , and setting up the play button. After about 5 days of playing with the code, I got it to work with a flash button.
Now, this also give me the ability to separate the tracks into keywords or categories. I can create different folders and subdirectories for each type of music. The only way I could accomplish this was to make keywords inside the mp3 tags. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
